My furbaby, Taz...she loves to ham it up for the camera.
Mrs. Fox Information
Hello and welcome to my website (Mrs. Fox) for all your AP Biology and Forensic Science needs.
2018-2019 will be my 11th year teaching at Golden Valley. I previously taught at Wilson Middle School in Chowchilla, teaching both 7th and 8th grade science. I love teaching and sharing my love of science with my students every day.
However, like many people, teaching was not my first job. I have actually held several. I have been a horseback guide in Yosemite Valley, a maid/maid inspector at the Awahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley, and finally before I returned to college I worked for 10 years as a personal care attendant at a residential care facility in Turlock. I grew up in nursing homes and residential care facilities as my mother worked in them for over 40 years, and I would visit her and stay with her often while she worked. One thing most of these jobs had in common, was biology. It has been an important theme my entire life.
I now enjoy many things in my spare time. I love to read, take drives, visit and picnic in the mountains or at the ocean, play video games (especially when I beat my husband in Tetris!), play with my dog Taz, cook for family and friends, visit family, and my most recent passion...quilting!
I can't wait for the new year to begin! Let's make it a great one, Cougars!!!
